Skechers® and BOBS® are hosting a pop-up adoption event at their store in Pittsburgh in partnership with the Best Friends Animal Society and the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh. Adoption fees will be fully waived, making this a great opportunity to bring home your new pet without the usual upfront costs.

Throughout the month of May, the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (HARP) is offering a 50% discount on all adoption fees for pets 6 months and older to all active-duty service members and veterans.

The Steel City Mega Pet Expo returns August 28 through August 30 at the Monroeville Convention and Events Center. This year, organizers have set a goal of 100 adoptions, including dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, and exotic pets. Tickets start at $10 and give you access to a full weekend of family-friendly fun, all centered around helping animals find their forever homes.
